Notary services and Medallion signature guarantees are available on-site at the Atlanta office complex only and free to all credit union members and associates of The Coca-Cola Company.
Cashier’s Checks
When You Need Them and How to Get Them
Occasionally, someone selling goods or services requires a cashier’s check instead of a personal check, cash, a credit card or money order. The difference is that, with a cashier’s check, the funds are guaranteed by the Coca-Cola Credit Union instead of the buyer. Sellers sometimes prefer these guaranteed funds. When you request a cashier’s check from us, the check is drawn on funds from your account. The cost of a cashier’s check can be found on our Rate and Fee Schedule here.

Please Note:
- Do not sign the documents requiring notarization or a medallion signature guarantee in advance. The Medallion signature guarantee requires a credit union associate to witness the signature, along with the verification of a photo I.D. (valid driver’s license or other government issued I.D.).
- A stop payment request for a lost or stolen cashier’s check is required in writing and may take up to 48 hours to investigate and re-credit to your account. Stop payments on cashier’s checks made payable to third parties may take up to 90 days to process.
